Participants will be provided with an overview of the key features of NVivo 8 software and their potential use in the research process. There will also be an opportunity for questions during the session. If you need to handle very rich information, where deep levels of analysis on both small and large volumes of data are required, NVivo 8 is your solution. It removes many of the manual tasks associated with analysis, like classifying, sorting and arranging information, so you have more time to explore trends, build and test theories and ultimately arrive at answers to questions. NVivo 8 highlights: Import, sort and analyze audio files, videos, digital photos, Word, PDF, rich text and plain text documents. Work with transcripts or work without them, analyzing material straight from audio and video files. Or create transcripts or text files in the software as you go.
