Senior Assignment Fund Proposal
The proposal should be a maximum of 8 pages of text, which may include
additional pages in the form of figures/tables. The proposal is due, electronically
and in hard copy with signatures, to the Office of Academic Innovation and
Effectiveness (Box 1300) no later than 5 p.m. on April 23. Please submit
electronically (Microsoft Word format) to pcobb@siue.edu.
1. Complete the cover sheet (located below).
2. Describe the program’s Senior Assignment.
A. Describe student SRA culminating experiences/projects
B. Describe faculty participation in the SRA
C. Describe the process used to evaluate the SRA, including the
individuals involved in the evaluation
3. Describe the SRA Proposal.
A. Describe the SRA Fund project. Describe the goals/outcomes of the
project and the significance of the project.
a. If the proposed project addresses either of the priority areas
established in the call for proposals, please describe how the
proposal will meet the goal.
B. Describe the plan of work for the project, including timeline, and
individuals involved in the project.
C. Describe the evaluation plan. How will you assess and report the
project’s impact on Senior Assignment?
D. Describe how the improvements will be sustainable beyond the
timeframe of this project.
4. Detailed Budget
A. Provide a line-item budget and justify each item
B. Indicate the level of department, school/college or external funding and
the amount of this request
