The College of Arts and Sciences, Science Research Associates (SRA) in collaboration with the College
of Education would like to ask permission from your office to allow our students to start the SRA classes
and operation as well on Monday, January 31, 2022. The venue will be at the SRA Laboratory and the
available classrooms in the U-type building. There are only limited number of students that should be
needed to attend per schedule. We will make sure to still observe the necessary health protocol given
by the university to avoid unnecessary circumstances and to stay healthy all the time.
Likewise, reading is a vital instrument for thinking and social intercourse because it serves different
purposes for students’ learning. This program is very useful to truly establish good reading skills that
require and share information to convince and to communicate in various forms of learners’ thoughts
and feelings. It is expected that after completing the activity, the students will have gained sufficient
knowledge in reading like for instance on how it will make comprehension useful. Thus, it is a main tool
in achieving quality education.
For our students to be globally competitive, we should possess love of SRA and competence in reading.

VII. RATIONALE
The enhancement of basic and special reading skills to students is fundamentally
important. Such skills are decisively important to a child in different areas of learning.

Reading is a vital instrument for thinking and social in social aspects because it serves
different purposes for students’ learning. Experts of education use reading to establish good
reading skills that requires and share information to convince and to communicate in various
forms of his thoughts and feelings. Thus, it is a main tool in achieving quality comprehension.
Likewise, to be globally competitive, we should possess competence in reading.
The vision of the project is to provide the respondents basic skills in reading as part of the
four macro skills of learning. It also aims to inculcate in the minds of every student the love of
reading.
It is expected that at the end of the activity, the students will have gained sufficient
knowledge in reading like for instance on how it will make comprehension useful.
X. OBJECTIVES
The project is primarily aimed to provide quality training for SRA students in the two college
of CBSUA Calabanga, the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Education.
Specifically, these undertakings hope to achieve the following objectives:
