VOLUNTEER ROLE DESCRIPTION
4-H Cloverbud Parent Role--Recognition Chair
Purpose:
Provide immediate positive feedback to youth participating in Cloverbud
activities.
Success Criteria:
Each member of the Cloverbud group will receive individual and group
recognition during the course of the group experience. Recognition will be
given for cooperation rather than competitive activities.
Responsibilities:
• Attend the group meeting and assist leader with activity.
• Be alert for opportunities to provide positive reinforcement to youth. Do
so at every opportunity using appropriate words and techniques.
• Provide opportunities for the group to share their skills or projects with
the community through a special exhibit or non-competitive event.
Time Required:
1 1/2 - 2 hours for each meeting date (volunteer can commit to assist at one
or several meetings of group)
Target Dates:
September through August
