IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Not all of this information is available for every one of your sources. However, some things must be in your work cited page entries. For
example, a website often does not have an author/editor, but it will always have a web address. Similarly, a book or encyclopedia will
always have publication information, while a website will simply have the date that you accessed that page. When in doubt, include
everything we have discussed in class.
2. Since you have a certain amount of entries (sources) that must be in your research paper, you should list them all on this page in
ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Use the first letter that appears in the entry (author’s last name) to alphabetize. If two entries share a name or
title, then move on to the next word in each entry until you find one that differs in the two entries.
3. PUNCTUATION
MATTERS, so make sure you follow the model carefully.
