My name is Sara Smith. I am a junior at H. Frank Carey High School who is currently enrolled in
the senior high research program. I feel that the Professor for a Day series will help me gain
valuable experience and knowledge that I will need in my future, as I plan on pursuing a career
in a science-related field. Hopefully this program will assist me in my exploration of various
scientific careers, and give me insight into what I specifically want to pursuit. Additionally, I
believe this program will broaden my understanding of the world around me providing me with
the skills needed to approach most matters in a reasoned and analytical manner. In conclusion,
the Professor for a Day Program will help me gain many useful skills and expand my scientific
horizons.
