2013 ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT CEREMONY
SCHOOL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE AND HUMAN SERVICES
The first outstanding student in PSYCHOLOGY is SARA GORDON.
Last year’s SSHS Book Prize winner, Sara served and is a member of many Honor
Societies such as Omicron Delta Kappa National and Psi Chi International, and National
Society of Collegiate Scholars only to name a few. She was founder and president of
“You’re Not Alone” the Ramapo College Anti-Bullying club, a Student Ambassador, and
Peer Facilitator. Sara studyed abroad at the University of Deusto in Bilboa, Spain, and
interned at The Center for Alcohol and Drug Resources in Hackensack and at Rutgers
University’s Infancy Studies Laboratory.
Sara wants to get a Masters in Higher Education and Student Affairs in order to work at
a college or university.
