(1) Classroom Rules:
a) Students should follow all school rules.
b) Students should be seated and ready to work when the bell rings.
c) Students should raise hand to be recognized before speaking.
d) The teacher, not the bell, dismisses the class.
e) It is the responsibility of the absent student to find out classwork
and homework missed.
******f) ALL MISSING ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE WITHIN 2 DAYS OF THE
STUDENT’S RETURN TO SCHOOL.
(2) The student must bring the following to class each day:
Text (covered), Spiral Notebook, Notebook (three ring binder exclusively for math with 3
dividers), Loose leaf paper, Pen or Pencil.
Your own graphing calculator is highly recommended –
TI – 83, 83+ or 84 CALCULATOR.
(3) Homework will be assigned 4 - 5 times per week, including on weekends and vacations.
(4) Grading Policy:
Homework 10 %
Classwork 15 %
Tests / Quizzes 75%
(5) Extra help hours will be posted in the departmental office and announced on a weekly
basis.
