VII: Discussion
a) Program Revitalization Recommendations from PRAC: Discussion concerned questions
among Senators and faculty members – especially those affected by current revitalization
programs – regarding how these decisions to mark a class for revitalization are made, by whom
and how notification should be handled. Confusion marks these issues, and clarification is
needed. Administrators, in particular, must be educated on the proper way for the process to
occur, and the limits of their role in this regard. President Bellisimo said recommendations for
ways to resolve this problem will be written over the summer and the issue will come before the
Senate for action when the fall semester begins.
