As a leading manufacturer of vascular grafts, endovascular and interventional devices, surgical meshes for hernia repair, and sutures, we are looking for a college student interested in systems administration and networking support to temporarily join our IT team in Flagstaff, AZ. In this role, you will contribute expertise and operational backup to a technical group of associates who support a diverse computer network consisting of Novell and Windows products in an FDA-validated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will: Be passionate about providing IT support for a world-class manufacturer and collaborating on cross-functional teams Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships Responsibilities include: Supporting Windows and Novell Netware Client Contributing to the commitments of the Systems Administration team Required Job Qualifications At least a second-year college student with a declared major in computer information systems or computer science One year of classroom instruction in infrastructure support and application development Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Windows applications Excellent communication skills Willingness and ability to keep up to date with current trends in the industry Ability to: o Work within a team environment o Work some overtime, weekends, and holidays Desirable Job Qualifications Experience supporting: o Novell NetWare Client and Lotus Notes o TCP/IP and printers Gore is committed to a drug-free workplace.
