Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate in the salary of Rs.13,000 in a Indian
Council of Social Sciences Research (ICSSR) sponsored project entitled “Deconstructing Maoist
Insurgency in India : Linking Deprivation, Displacement and Violence” sanctioned for two years.
The post is purely temporary and coterminous with the Project.
The candidate should be M.A. with 55 or more than 55 percent and age not exceeding 45 years.

A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female
candidates.

Candidates with experience of research in the area of the Project or related field will be
preferred.

All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will preferred as per GOI rules.
