**Of course, I will be asking you to
read outside of class, keeping a log of
what you read and HOW MUCH you
read.
3rd Nine Weeks—
 PASS Prompt Writing Unit
 Informational Writing
4th Nine Weeks—
 Persuasive Writing
 Poetry
**Of course, I will be asking you to
write at least 1 or 2 pieces that are
completely and totally your own
choice. I want to see what you’re
interested in writing.

Homework:
Your child will have homework at
least 2 or 3 times a week. I will also
try to keep you informed of major
assignment due dates.
