Math:
-Compare two numbers using vocabulary: greater than
and less than.
-Order three numbers from least to greatest.
Practice comparing and ordering numbers using
a
number line.
Social Studies:
Review authority figures in the school and the community who
enforce rules and laws that keep people safe, including
crossing guards, bus drivers, firefighters, and police officers.
Help your child identify his or her personal connections to
places, including home, school, and neighborhood, and city or
town (review your address, our city, and our state).

Math: Patterns are all around us. This week you
will practice making different patterns with your bag
of colored squares.
Thursday
ELA: Look for examples of environmental print.
Environmental print includes words we recognize
and can read in our community. Some examples are:
toys, foods, signs, restaurant names, and store
names. Find 2-3 examples (from an ad, menu,
magazine, take a picture), cut them out and bring
them by Friday.
