Follow directions Use Pictures and Words to make predictions regarding a story read aloud. Generate complete sentences orally Use appropriate letter formation when printing. Math: Classify objects Use a calendar to identify dates, days of the week, and months of the year. Identify and continue simple patterns Identify shapes Construct simple graph Updates for the Week Remember to sign your child’s ‘What’s Happening” sheet each night! Fall Festival is coming on Friday, September 18! 5:00-7:30 Star Color Key White Star--Great Day! Green Star--Warning Yellow Star--loss of daily reward Red Star-- loss of daily reward, note home Day Monday Science: Classify objects by observable properties (including size, color, shape, magnetic attraction, heaviness, texture, and the ability to float in water). Identify parts of the body. Identify key functions of each body part. Homework for the Week: No School Tuesday Wednesday Math: Number Project- Locate numbers and paste on provided page. Directions attached ELA: Enclosed you will find a bag with letter resources. This bag and the enclosed materials will be used the entire month of September. Please keep all letters in the appropriate bags and return to school daily. Students should use the letters to complete activities EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. This is not something that should be done once and then put away for the week. Repetition is the key to building fluency. Each Monday new instructions will be placed in the bag.
