size, color, shape, magnetic attraction, heaviness,
texture, and the ability to float in water).
Social Studies:
 Explain the purposes of rules and laws and the
consequences of breaking them, including
sometimes unspoken rules of sportsmanship and
fair play.
 Summarize the roles of people in authority in a
child’s life, including parents and teachers.
