Practice writing simple sentences with your child using
word wall words and helping them stretch out unknown
words (writing the sounds that they hear)

band, hand, land, sand, stand, etc.
Read high frequency words.
Capitalize the first word in a sentence.
Recognize and name ending punctuation.
Write first and last name.
Beginning and ending sounds in words.
Identify setting and characters
