Directions: You can learn a great deal by critically assessing case studies. It
is a wonderful opportunity to refine your own Rules of Thumb (ROT)
which form the fabric of your expertise. The purpose of this diary is to aid
you in developing that tapestry. The first “block” summarizes the feedback you are
providing to all presenters. Over time you will notice important patterns emerge
regarding highly effective case studies. The other “blocks” summarize your evaluation of
each group. Pay particular attention to how effectively the group used rules of thumb
(ROT) discussed in the communication program.
