MEETING SCHEDULE AND ACTIVITIES
Times for board meetings are subject to modifications within the June 6-7, 2007 timeframe.
Wednesday, June 6, 2007
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
The Full Board will meet in Room 109 Butrovich Building,
UAF campus. The first item of business will be an executive
session, scheduled to last approximately 2 1/2 hours, followed
by the president’s report.
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon The Full Board will hear public testimony.
12:00 noon. – 1:30 p.m. The Planning and Development Committee will meet in Room
109. Luncheon will be served to members of the Board of
Regents and participating staff.
1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Full Board will resume to hear presentations on IPY, crisis
preparedness, and HR redesign.
3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Finance Committee will meet in Room 109.
6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
The Board of Regents and President Hamilton will host a
community reception focused on the work of post-docs
regarding the International Polar Year at the UA Museum of
the North.
Thursday, June 7, 2007
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Audit Committee will meet in Room 109.
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Academic and Student Affairs Committee will meet in Room
109.
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Facilities and Land Management Committee will meet in
Room 204.

11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Public Testimony will resume. The board chair will announce
when public testimony is closed.
12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m.
The Full Board will have a luncheon meeting with members of
the UAF Alumni Board of Directors.
1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
The Full Board will meet to hear a report on the UA Geography
Program, approve consent agenda items, and conclude the
board meeting.
2:00 p.m.
The Full Board is invited to attend the dedication of the Paul
Reichardt Building.
