ASWU Senate Community Service Projects
Relating to ASWU Senate and the student body.
WHEREAS, there is nothing in our Constitution that states that as the leaders of the
student body (ASWU) at Willamette University that we should have community services
projects.
WHEREAS, “Not unto ourselves alone are we born.”
WHEREAS, This will promote the well-being of ASWU, our campus, and fulfill
ASWU’s duty to uphold the university’s motto.
THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED, that ASWU Senate and the Executive board are to put
on two community service projects (one a semester) to not only promote ASWU but also
to give back to the institution and the community.
SECTION 1: This ACT shall be enacted on January 14, 2013.
