 boycott - refusal to buy a product or service as a protest

 intolerable - cannot be endured or put up with
 loyalist - colonist remaining loyal to Britain and opposed to the fight for
independence
 massacre - brutal, bloody killing of many people who cannot defend themselves
 merchant – a buyer and seller of goods for profit
 Militia - army of volunteers who fight in emergencies
 minutemen - group of civilians willing to fight the British at a minute's notice
 Parliament: The lawmaking body of Britain’s government
