Activity:
On the teacher’s signal, the first student will jog (hop, jump, gallop, skip) to the crate and
pick up one number (1-20) and place it under a bean bag in numerical order The other
students will jog in place counting by 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, 10’s while waiting on their teammate
to return. The next student in line will go to the crate and play continues until all
numbers (1-20) are placed in order from the crate. The teacher will check to see if
students have all 20 numbers in the correct order. If not, the teacher should tell the team
how many numbers are correct. Students must then take the incorrect numbers back to
the crate and return them in the correct order under the bean bag, one number at a time.
Once all teams have their numbers in the correct order, the Teacher can change the
numbers (21-40, etc) and play again.
Variations:
 Odd, Even numbers
 Skip counting (2’s, 5’s, 10’s)
