CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
CRITERIA FOR MEMBERSHIP

Greetings,
We are soliciting nominations for the Completion Investment Council and ask your group to nominate at least
three candidates for membership to serve as the representative for _______________. Factors including
varied perspectives, interest, special expertise, campus/district location, and ability to serve 2-3 years will
impact selection of the single representative.
 It is intended that the Completion Investment Council be broadly representative of all areas of the
College and balanced by perspectives, knowledge and expertise.
 The Completion Investment Council will rely upon other initiatives taking place throughout the College
to inform its work; as well as internal consultants with specific expertise to help factor in important
questions such as capacity, system impacts, etc.
 Meetings are scheduled at Rock Creek Campus, the third Friday of each month, beginning November
16, 2012, 8:30am to 11:30am.
Criteria for membership:
1. Eager to actively engage and bring perspectives to the Council concerning large-scale student
success/retention/completion strategies.
2. Willing to commit to 2 or 3 years on the Completion Investment Council.
3. Be responsible for being the primary communication conduit between CIC and representative group.
4. Able to consistently attend almost all meetings and develop a completion expertise through
participation in Completion Investment Council activities (there will be “homework”).
5. Committed to developing expertise in:
a. National and regional success & completion initiatives and practices related to the national
and the State of Oregon’s completion agenda.
b. Engaging with data to formulate critical conversations concerning PCC’s role in the national
and the State of Oregon’s completion agenda.
