1. Approval of the September 5, meeting minutes. Xiang moved, Ambrose seconded.
2. Proposals
A. Finance and Business Law Department: New Course, FNBSLW 472 Financial
Analysis with Bloomberg, Morningstar, and Excel – Molloy moved to vote, Ambrose

accounting and graduate it was thought there was sufficient differentiation.
Unanimously in favor vote.

Learning Plan. Change was seen as a slight modification to Business 344. Molloy move to
approve, Boostrom second. Unanimous approval.
4. Begin discussing how our curriculum relates to our mission, objectives and values beyond
core assessment. Reviewed actions taken last year to see where ideas such as diversity and
ethics are reinforced through the courses in each department. Then reviewed the CoBE
Mission Statement to see how classes might relate to specific elements of the mission. Reps
were asked to go back to their departments to see how things are measured as part of audit
and review.
5. Other business – Marilyn Lavin is the marketing alternate.
