1. Approval of the December 7, 2011, meeting minutes.
2. Proposals
A. College
1) Administrative Action: Catalog clarification of College practice of allowing 12
credits of Economics to count in the 60-credit non-business requirement
2) Change in Degree: Remove computer applications requirement from unique
degree requirements
B. Management
1) Change in general management major: increase required management courses and
decrease management elective courses
2) Requisite change: Management 487 – add Management 386 as an unrequisite and
keep Accounting 244 as a prerequisite
C. Marketing
1) New certificate: Professional Selling Certificate
2) New course: Marketing 450 Sales Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
3) Change in existing course: Number change from MARKETNG 430 Advanced
and Entrepreneurial Sales Techniques to MARKETNG 460 Advanced and
Entrepreneurial Sales Techniques
D. Information Technology and Business Education
1) Prerequisite change: ITBE 280 Intro to Information Systems; remove completion
of computer applications requirement
