Combo Request
Log in to MyGateway.
Select the Request System tab.
Choose Combo Request.
Please note: Instructors can request to combine courses:
1) when there are multiple sections of the same course or
2) a course is cross-listed with another course (e.g. Sociology and Anthropology)
Enter the “Parent Course ID” (the MyGateway course in which all students will be
added/combined) using one of the following criteria: partial course id, reference number
or full MyGateway id. You only need to choose one criteria. For this example the
reference number is used. Enter the five digit reference number and then click search.
“Select” the appropriate course.
Select Add Child Course (the MyGateway course from which all students will be
removed from and added to the Parent course).
Enter the Child Course ID using one of the following criteria: partial course id, reference
number or full MyGateway id. You only need to choose one criteria. For this example the
reference number is used. Enter the five digit reference number and then click search.
Select the appropriate course.
This screen allows you to add additional child courses, if applicable.
Verify the Combo Request.
Click Submit.
You will receive a confirmation once you have submitted the request. Requests will be
complete within 3 business days.
