Travel and Tourism Club asks for your support for Service Men and Women The Travel and Tourism Club at Monroe Community College is supporting the News10 NBC, Red Cross, United Way, Infinity Broadcasting and Raymour and Flanigan team to send the comforts of home to our service men and women. As war appears to be imminent, the Travel Club desperately wanted to do something to help. Club President, Dawn Mannino heard of the effort, and realized this was the vehicle that offered the answer of ‘how to help.” At a time when people are feeling helpless and anxious, this is a way for the MCC community to do something positive. How can you help? A collection is being taken by the Travel and Tourism Club for the following items. We are asking for donations of individual hard candy (no chocolate, microwave popcorn, small trial size toiletries, blank greeting cards and stationery, and magazines (sports, car, puzzle, comics only). Donations can be accepted up until Friday, March 21 at 10:00 a.m., and can be dropped off in the Admissions Office with Janet Zinck. We thank you in advance for any support you may be able to give us.
