All associate degree credit courses, non-degree credit courses and noncredit courses are to be
recommended by the college curriculum committee which is established in accordance with state
law. Any courses which are properly recommended may be implemented only after the
recommendation is adopted by the Board of Trustees. The Board shall also approve all continuing
education (community services) classes.
The College shall determine a statement, symbol, numbering system or the equivalent that clearly
indicates for each course whether the course is degree applicable, non-degree applicable, or
noncredit. The information regarding courses shall be published in the catalog or an addendum to
be available to all students at registration.
