ERFA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
October 6, 2011

The meeting was opened by Sally Hurtado..
The minutes of May 11, 2011 were reviewed and approved.
Co-Presidents Report
Sally Hurtado reported that a check for $229.96 was sent from Ca. State ERFA
to SSU ERFA (for April, May and June, 2011).
Discussion was held about the need to review previous project ideas: letter to new members,
Website, raffle tickets, etc.
The report submitted by Lucy Kortum was reviewed and accepted.
SSU Book—Memories and Historical Highlights
It was reported that 80 copies were left. Some of them will be taken to the 50th year
celebration of SSU this October 29, in the Library. The authors of the book will be there to do
book signing, except for John Palmer who will not be able to be there. His signature stamp will
be used at the October 29 book signing.
By Laws: The revised By Laws were approved, with a few revisions.
December Luncheon:
Hard copies of the revised Proposed SSU ERFA ByLaws will be distributed at the luncheon.
Judith will give a brief report about the ByLaws.at the December luncheon meeting. At the
Spring 2012 luncheon, the ByLaws will be voted on.
Senate Representative
Discussion was held about inviting Phil Brownell to participate in our Executive
Committee meetings. If the ByLaws are passed,, the Senate Representative will become a
member of ERFA Executive Committee.
