Conducting the pretest to measure students’ level of understanding prior to instructions, to collect information about student’s prior knowledge, and thus to design the guided- inquiry laboratory in the third week (16~20) of July, 2007. 3. Implementing guided four inquiry lab activities and collecting students’ worksheets from the labs from August 20 to September 15, 2007. 4. Conducting the posttest to measure students’ level of understanding after finishing the unit in the third week of September 2007. 5. Conduct a summative test to measure how deeply the students understand the learning objectives on 26 September 2007. 6. Administrating survey to find out the students’ perception on the guided inquirybased instruction in the first week (1~5) of October 2007.
