Activity Sign-up Sheet
Please rate the activities in order from 1-5 with 1 being the activity you would MOST
like to participate in and 5 being the activity you would LEAST like to participate in.
______Water activity – this activity includes an outdoor walk to collect water, a
mapping activity and an exploration of properties of water
______Soil activity – this activity works exclusively indoors. You will look at different
soils and record your observations. You will also look at how water changes soils
properties and appearance.
______Rock activity – this activity includes an outdoor walk to collect rocks. You will
then record observations of rocks and classify rocks based on properties.
______Landform 1 activity- this activity in exclusively indoors. You will create a model
of earth/land with clay, paper and other materials.
______Landform 2 activity – this activity includes an outdoor walk to explore how water
changes landforms. You will conduct experiments that simulate rain. You will
map water and how water can change landforms. You will conduct experiments
on pre-made models imitating the effects of water and wind on land.
