Proposal is following consultation and validation of the pathway with
franchise partners in Malaysia, (MAHSA)

The original validation event in 2010/11 recommended the title be
reviewed after 12 months, the current title has not been popular with
the UK market either

Current students will be given the option of continuing with the existing
title or changing to the new title

The new intake in September 2012 will take on the new title

There are no current students in Malaysia as this is a new franchise


Proposal to offer distance learning mode of delivery in addition to face
to face delivery

Proposal will provide the opportunity for students to undertake part or

Proposal to transfer the Engineering programme and six pathways
from the Department of Computer and Technology to the Department
of Built Environment

Pathways are delivered across Chelmsford, Peterborough,
Huntingdon Regional College and University Centre West Anglia,
overseas delivery has not recruited

Proposal will bring all engineering pathways together under the
Department of Built Environment which will aid collaborative research
and support UK and international marketing of the subject area

