Painting 1 homework
To be completed in sketchbook.
Create a simple still life with a single egg and place it on color fabric or paper.
Use a strong light source to achieve good shadows. Poor lighting is not
acceptable. Every painting should be the exact same still life. Do not make
changes. You may choose the size of each painting, but each will be that size.
No painting shall be smaller than 3 x 3 inches. Create one painting for each of
the following color schemes:
Achromatic
Monochromatic
True Color
Complementary Color
Analogous Colors (at least three)
Expressive Color – choose a mood to convey through your color choices.
These will be shared with the class and graded on Feb 20th
