Section 4 (Monday 7:00 – 9:50) is one week behind the schedule listed above due to
Labor Day.

You don’t have to wait to start the next lab experiment but all design tasks and
reports are due as indicated.

MATERIALS:
Bound Lab Notebook
Safety Glasses
GRADING:
The scheduled lab grade is 20% of your overall ECE 480 grade.
Here is the breakdown of this part of your grade:
WEEKLY LAB REPORTS ………………………………………………… 40%
FINAL LAB REPORT ……………………………………….……………… 40%
DIGITAL COLOR ORGAN PRESENTATION ……………….……… 20%
OVERVIEW:
You enroll in a scheduled lab section and the TA will be present
during lab times. We will also running this as an open lab. The
ECE 480 lab will be 24 hours a day. Two people must be in the
lab all the times.
POLICIES:
Demonstration of the previous week’s work is due at the
beginning of the scheduled lab section and needed for final signoff of the weekly lab reports.
Any copying of lab data from anyone or posting on the world
wide web will result in a zero lab grade for that material.
Safety glasses are required. We will do spot checks for safety
glasses. For each instance of not wearing eye protection,
your weekly lab report grade will be lowered by 1%. You
will not be allowed to stay in the lab without safety glasses.
You will not receive a lab grade until all tools have been
returned to the ECE shop.
