Mid-America Earthquake Center Summer 2006 Engineering Internship Sophomore and Junior undergraduate students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are invited to explore new directions in earthquake studies through the National Science Foundation sponsored Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program. The Mid-America Earthquake Center supports up to eight students to spend ten weeks in the summer conducting individual research projects that contribute to ongoing research programs of the center. Location options for this internship include: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Georgia Institute of Technology, University of Memphis, Washington University, Texas A&M University, University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez, and University of Texas at Austin.
