Vintage Christian Fellowship -- is devoted to “drink[ing] deep from the well that brings the
same life and has the same appeal today as it did 2000 years ago.” They are a wonderful on
campus source for questions concerning Christian ethics.

The Secular Franciscan Order of Flagstaff -- is an order “with a desire for Franciscan social
action.” The members strive to live their lives with a spirit, perspective, and ideals that reflect

How to get involved with Secular Organizations

Northern Arizona University Secular Student Alliance – is a national organization whose
mission is to “organize, unite, educate, and serve students and student communities that promote
the ideals of scientific and critical inquiry, democracy, secularism, and human-based ethics.”
Current students can visit the NAU Secular Student Alliance website to find many options for
each stage of involvement in the group. NAU Alumni can join an off campus groups, join the
speaker’s bureau, become an SSA Alumni member, write op-eds and letters to the editor to voice
a secular mindset, find a job within the secular movement, and attend conferences.

Flagstaff Freethinkers – was started “to create a community for freethinkers, secularists,
humanists and nontheists where we can be social with like-minded people, where we can
develop relationships and support structures with and for one another.” They have many
different community service events for members to improve the well-being of others.

Secular Coalition for America -- is a 501(c)(4) advocacy organization whose purpose is to
amplify the diverse and growing voice of the nontheistic community in the United States located
in Washington, D.C. They have well put together website with various ways to donate or get
involved through a national or state level.
