Class Syllabus
For
Estimating Fundamentals
Fall Session
Instructor
James A. Beal
The following is an outline of the Estimating Fundamentals class. The class will require a calculator, Engineers & Architects
scales along with something to take notes. The classes will run approximately 4 hrs with 3 breaks. The class will begin at
5:30 p.m. Tuesdays. The book required for this course will be the instructor’s book and you will only be charged $50.00. A
set of ½ size plans will also be required at $25.00 per set. An option I am working on if you have a personal computer is
having you down load Plan Swift and not need to buy the plans. Optionally you can buy the complete course slide show with
an area for notes for $15.00. There is a class project that will be completed the last day. Homework will be take-off the CSI
divisions covered in the last class.
