Administrative Services Staff Meeting February 8, 2011 PRESENT: Babs Atane Rocky Bonura Julie Bourlier Tom Brown Tom Connolly Janice Ely Bob Gann Jo Ann Higdon Bruce Hoerning Reuben James Andy Nasatir Rachelle Sasser Fred Sturner Michael Trevis John Wagstaff Satish Warrier Minutes: Minutes from February 1th meeting was approved: Jo Ann: President would like to have defibrillators in every building on this campus. Currently, we have approximately ten defibrillators and estimations are that we will need more than a dozen. It is very important that we have qualified person checking. Discussion regarding designating areas on campus for smoking came up at College Council yesterday: o Two avenue of thinking: 1. Have designated areas for smoking, which bring ups issues on who will enforce it and how. Campus Police will not be put into a position of enforcing it. 2. Make ECC a non smoking campus. This is a better solution for all concerned. Our recommendation is to have a non smoking campus. Rocky will gather more information on other campuses that have a non smoking environment. Vending machine update: Inquiries have been made to the vendor for proposal on different kinds of skins. Waiting for vendor to respond.
