o How often the Survey for the Evaluation of Shared Governance should be
conducted?
o Request from Senate Chair Wagner regarding the issue of emailing in a vote and
whether this can “count”. Andi Lyons also suggests that GOV should “update the
language in the Charter to reflect our current reality and also include suitable
alternatives as the technology for such things grows (of course, while maintaining
the ability to both verify eligibility and certify secrecy).” The language in the
Charter currently reads:

X.1.4.3.1.4. nominate a slate for the election of Senators-at-large according to Bylaws
Article II, Sections 2.2 and 5.3.and conduct the election, to be decided by plurality vote, by
mail or email ballot.

