Your assignment is to make a set of “10 Commandments”
for either Huck, Jim, or Pap and then make a poster
displaying them. Included in these 10 commandments
must be 5 “do’s” and 5 “don'ts.” Examples would be
“Thou shalt not kill” or “honor thy parents.”
Be creative! Don’t just rip stuff from the 10
commandments that you might have heard from the Bible,
and instead get into the mindsets of the character that
you’re making the list for. Think about their personality,
what they think is right and wrong, and what they like to
do.
It is recommended that you make a rough draft of your list
on a piece of notebook paper before starting work on your
real poster.
Your poster should be neat and easy to read. Points will
be deducted for lazy/sloppy posters, and posters with
higher levels of effort/care will receive much higher
grades.
