Call to Order
President Ana Safazada called the meeting to order at 12:00pm and welcomed everyone. Quorum
was established.

Motion made by M.S.A. to approve the minutes of November 4, 2009. Seconded by
the Psychology Club. Motion passed.

A. 1. ASO Senate Report – Chris Pham for Philip Stokes
o Status of Student Health Services resolution
o The Health Services Resolution has been sent to be finalized
o The resolution is for the Health Center services to be extended to include the Summer
Semester with an additional $14 Health fee.

2. New Clubs – ICC Review Board – Kirsten Nguyen (I.C.C. Review Board Commissioner)
o Italian Club, Hong Kong Society Club, Jujitsu Club, and Jewish Club still pending
3. Homecoming Report – Ana Safazada
o Announced the winners of Homecoming Queen and King: Samantha Glunt and Walter
Mendez.
o Thanked the cabinet for planning the activities and everyone who participated and came
out to support the activities.
o She requested and received feedback from the clubs about the after-game Disco Fever
Night event.
o Feedback: It was voiced that the dance should have been open to the public since the
dance looked a little empty; however, Chris Pham pointed out that the room was very
large, and 80 people attended. It wasn’t open to everyone to remain fair to the clubs that
had rsvp-d. Another club responded by saying that it was a lot of fun and it was a great
opportunity to get to know other clubs. Mark Tomaier said that the dance went very
well, even due to budget constraints.
3. I.C.C. Cabinet Positions – Ana Safazada
o Preena Chand resigned her position of I.C.C. Fundraising Commissioner due to personal
reasons
o Following positions are vacant: I.C.C. Activities Commissioner, I.C.C. Fundraising
Commissioner, I.C.C. Finance Commissioner and I.C.C. Publicity Commissioner

Business Items
A. Approval of I.C. Cabinet Appointment – Ana Safazada
1. The President appointed Brittney Durant as I.C.C. Commissioner of Publicity. Brittney
gave a short speech as to why she was motivated to apply for the position.
Motion made by A.G.S. to approve Brittney Durant as I.C.C. Commissioner of Publicity.
Second by the Psychology Club. Motion passed.
B. Approval of New Club – none
C. Approval of I.C.C. Vintage Clothing Sale Fundraiser – Ana Safazada
1. The Vintage Sale will be on Tuesday, November 17th on the Library Lawn. Proceeds to be
deposited to the I.C.C. Fundraising Account.
Motion made by South Pacific Islander Club to approve the I.C.C. Vintage Clothing
Sale Fundraiser. Second by Rotaract. Motion passed.
D. Approval of I.C.C. Finance Committee Recommendation
1. I.C.C. Children’s Holiday Party Budget was distributed to members (attached to the
agenda).
Motion made by EC Society of Music Club to approve $2000 from the I.C.C. Children’s
Holiday Party account #71-55001-00-836504-7670 for expenses for the I.C.C.
Children’s Holiday Party on December 11, 2009 as presented. Second by American Red
Cross Club. Motion passed.
VII. Information Items
A. I.C.C. Children’s Holiday Party – Chris Pham
1. On December 11, 2009 from 11:30am-1:00pm in the Activities Center West Lounge
2. The party planning committee will meet on Wednesdays from 3-4pm and Chris
distributed a sign up sheet for those interested in being on the committee

Chris Pham briefly explained that the Holiday Party is put on for preschool children from
the Headstart Program, coming from low-income & single parent families
4. Craft Table participation forms were distributed to club members – due on Dec. 2nd
5. Volunteer participation forms were also distributed to club members – due on Dec. 2nd
6. Does ICC provide supplies to clubs- Yes, but the list must be turned in as soon as
possible.
B. “Loathing in Las Vegas”- Chris Pham
1. Event is being planned by cabinet as major spring activity.
2. Chris requested feedback from club reps to see if there was support for proceeding with
plans to hold the event in Marsee Auditorium. Reps gave positive feedback
3. Will there be an admission charge? Yes because this is a fundraiser and will cost a lot of
money to put on.
4. There will be a light show and casino tables
5. Entrance Fee- There will be a fee for students and a lower fee for ASB holders
6. Age limit- Since no gambling is taking place; it might be open to all age groups.

VIII. Next I.C.C. Meetings
A. Cabinet and Finance Committee Meeting – Monday, Nov. 16, 2009 at 11:45am in the I.C.C.
Office. Club budget requests are due on Thursday, Nov. 12th for items to be approved at the
next I.C.C. meeting. (See ICC Club Budget Request Procedures).
B. General Meeting – Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 12pm in the Activities Center West
Conference Room.
IX.
Open Discussion
A. I.C.C. Adviser – There are 3 canned food drives planned by student organizations for the
holidays. If any other clubs are interested in combining efforts they should contact the
Sociology Club (L.A. Food Bank), Come Together Club (Salvation Army) and ASO/FYE
Program (not sure who their donations are for).
B. I.C.C. Adviser – All club fundraisers must be scheduled through the Student Development
Office.

Motion to adjourn was made by South Pacific Islander Club. Second by Rotaract. Motion
passed. Meeting was adjourned at 12:40pm.
