Call to Order

President Ana Safazada called the meeting to order at 12:06pm and welcomed everyone. Quorum was established.

1. I.C.C. Review Board – Kirsten Nguyen

Jewish Student Society still pending

2. A.S.O. Student Senate- Philip o Vacant position for Student Trustee, position open for all ECC students, last meeting o established special election committee in charge of selection or postition

Math Division counsel increased members. o Fiance Committee approval of funds for trip.

3. I.C.C. Vintage Clothing Sale Fundraisers- Ana Safazada o o o

Vintage Clothing Fundraiser took place in front of the Library Lawn from 10am-5pm

$135 were raised to be placed in the Fundraising Account

Another Vintage sale to take place on December 2 nd

Business Items

A . Approval of New Clubs

– Kirsten Nguyen

1.

Italian Club’s rep, Guadalupe Sanchez, spoke a few words regarding his club. The basis of the club is to learn about Italian culture with potlucks and movies. The club is open to all

ECC students.

Motion made by Southern Pacific Islanders Club to approve Hong Kong Society as a

new club. Second by the A.G.S. Motion passed.

Approval of I.C.C. Fiance Committee Recommedations – Ana Safazada

1. A.G.S. requested $1,500 FOR Honor Society Conference.

2. Daniel Garret spoke regarding trip, saying that the conference is to teach leadership skills and networking to help students. Overall trip will take $4,000, the $1,500 is only to ensure that the trip will take place, The rest of the money is being raised by AG.S., through car washes, a dinner fundraiser, and other activities. Chris Pham (A.G.S.

President) explained that the cost of the trip is broken down to airfare, hotel registration, shuttles, etc.

3. Trip to take place in San Jose, California from April 16-18, 2010

Feedback: Conference is open to A.G.S. cabinet and A.G.S. members who express interest.

Motion made by Southern Pacific Islanders Club to approve A.G.S. request of $1,500 for the Honor Society Conference from April 16-18, 2010 from account number

Approval of I.C.C. Vintage Sale – Ana Safazada

1. Last I.C.C. Vintage Sale was a success and customers wanted another one. It is to take place on Dec. 2 nd

from 10am-5pm towards the Library Lawn, but might be shifted due to construction.

Feedback: Clothes provided by the I.C.C. members.

Motion made by A.G.S. to approve I.C.C. Vintage Sale on Dec. 2, 2009.N Second by

Puente Club. Motion passes.

VII.

Information Items

A.

I.C.C. Children’s Holiday Party – Chris Pham

1.

On December 11, 2009 from 11:30am-1:00pm in the Activities Center West Lounge

2.

3 Committees have formed a) Décor Committee with Brittney Durant – buying and setting up decorations b) Craft Committee – in charge of preparing crafts and managing craft tables day of

Children’s Holiday Party. c) Toy wrapping/ buying Committee – in charge of buying $900 worth of toys

Craft Table participation forms - due on Dec. 2 nd

4.

Does ICC provide supplies to clubs- Yes, but the list must be turned in as soon as possible.

5.

Chris Pham- pointed out that there would be no committee meeting today due to the holidays.

B. “Loathing in Las Vegas”- Chris Pham and Philip Stokes

1.

Event is being planned by cabinet as major spring activity.

2.

Chris Pham and Philip Stokes will meet with ASB to discuss event and get support and additional funds.

3.

Committees to be formed under cabinet members as heads

4.

Requesting funds for I.C.C. for deposits for contracts for light show and casino table rentals.

5.

Members of committees will need to participate outside of I.C.C, such as during the winter to put together the event.

6.

I.C.C. will host a Talent Show- it will be a great opportunity for all students and form of entertainment during the event. The date is still pending.

7.

Clubs are requested to sponsor tables during the event.

8.

Anyone interested in joining a committee contact Chris Pham or Philip Stokes.

VIII.

Next I.C.C. Meetings

A.

Cabinet and Finance Committee Meeting – Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at 11:45am in the I.C.C.

Office. Club budget requests are due on Thursday, Nov. 30 th for items to be approved at the next I.C.C. meeting. (See ICC Club Budget Request Procedures).

During meeting a slideshow of Homecoming was playing.
