Teacher News:
It is very important that your child return the SchoolParent-Student Compact that was sent home in their
Thursday folders last week.
Grandparents- Ice Cream and Book fair social will be
Tuesday, September 15, from 5:30-7:30 pm. This is a great
opportunity for grandparents to see their grandchild’s
classroom and meet his/her teacher. They can also go to
the book fair and enjoy an ice cream sundae.
Also, I have purchased Scholastic News for our class. This
is a social studies/science magazine that is not only
interesting but educational. If you would like to help defer
the cost of the yearly subscription, it is $4.75 per student.
Each year the grade-levels donate a basket for auction at
the Carnival. Third grade’s theme is ‘A night at home’. If
you are able we would appreciate donations for the basket
such as snacks, sodas, popcorn, dvds, card games, etc. All
proceeds go to the PTA.
