ASO hosts Finals Madness, a finals study night (Mon.-Thurs. December 12th-16th) in the Student
Activities Center
Outreach will be scheduling Student Ambassador high school campus-visits and matriculation services
(including online assessment testing) for Spring 2012. Outreach would like to complete the majority of the scheduling by the end of January.
Outreach event scheduling will include working with counseling on providing and promoting career services available to prospective students as per recent discussions about career awareness and declaring a major.
Robin Dreizler has been appointed to be the co-chair of the SCA SLO committee. The charge of the committee will be to ensure we are on task to be at the proficient level of SCA Program SLOs. Robin’s
Page 2 Enrollment Services Division Council Newsletter co-chair from the Compton Center is Trish Bonacic, and both are preparing for the first committee meeting which will be soon after the winter break.
There are 10,350 students currently in our Prospective Student Database. Contact Robin Dreizler if your program wishes use this database for program recruitment.
Our high school contact listserv includes nearly 300 high school counselors and administrators. If you would like information regarding how to market your program or services by accessing this listserv, please contact Robin Dreizler or Julieta Ortiz.
FYE Holiday Event on 12/06/11 was a success with over 150 guests attending. A special honor was given from the Project Needs program to Community “D” who won the canned food drive for 2011.
They collected over 500 cans.
