Robotics Team
Information
Commitment
During the months of October to April. We will meet twice a week to learn how to
build and program in a practice setting.
We are scheduled to go to 4 competitions at the moment. These competitions
are on Saturdays and are far away. They usually start at 8:00 in the morning and
go through the afternoon. For more information on these competitions, please go
to my webpage and go to the Robotics team Link. From this page, you will find
links to all the competition times and locations.
It is very important that all team members come to all meetings. Everyone has a
responsibility and with deadlines and a short time frame; every day and every
person is important.

Fundraising
Our team needs about $2500.00 to update game tables, replace parts, and
register for competitions.
We are looking for sponsors or anyone who has a fundraising idea.
All sponsors will have their name and logo on our team banner.
Things to bring to practices
Water Bottle or drink – please bring any drinks in a closed container. We will
have robots and computers out that will be expensive to replace if a drink spills.
Snack – we will try to get volunteers for snacks but if you would like to bring your
own, you are welcome.
Parent Volunteers
We will need some help along the way to be successful…..
Fundraising – we could use a parent who would be willing to contact local
businesses for sponsorship or head a fundraiser.
Snacks - We will make a sign up schedule for class snacks. We need snacks for
about 25 people each meeting. Please let me know if your parents are willing to
help.
Supervision – I can always use another set of eyes and someone who is willing to
help me keep the kids on task.
Programming or CAD experience
If you are joining our team…your dues and sign up form are due no
later than Thursday, October 1st.
