Responsible for guiding the Council on Research’s
actions as charged by the University Policy on
Organized Research Units. In coordination with the
University’s assessment/evaluation initiatives, the
committee will recommend improvements to the
current procedures for evaluating organized research
units.

and the SUNY Research Award.

Conflict of Interest Committee
Review financial disclosure statements for the
potential of conflict of interest. When a conflict of
interest as defined by the Conflict of Interest policy
is deemed to exist, the committee shall recommend
to the Vice President for Research that an
appropriate course of action be taken to manage,
reduce, or eliminate such conflict.
