Calls for the creation of an Associate Director of Veterans Affairs position, reporting to the Director of Student Affairs, and working unpaid for a minimum of four hours per week to fulfill the following duties: a. Act as a liaison between veterans and the organizations, offices, and programs designed to engage them, b. Work with the university administration to enhance the quality of services available to veterans and their families, c. In addition to veterans, represent students affiliated with the ROTC program, 2. Endorses the review of this position after the end of fall semester, 2012 to investigate progress and impact, as well as the possibility for converting it into a paid position. 3. Requires the Director of Student Affairs to take on responsibilities of the Associate Director of Veterans Affairs should the position become vacant. 4.
