Resolution 13-19: A Resolution to Urge Faculty to Submit
Book Lists on Time

WHEREAS, many faculty members do not submit book lists to the bookstore by
specified deadlines; and
WHEREAS, the bookstore therefore cannot order all required reading material in a
timely manner
WHEREAS, students cannot get all books before classes start, and the students who

need books in alternative format frequently cannot get their academic
7
materials until well after classes begin; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Student Government of Wright State University here

assembled, that:

(1) Faculty members should submit their book lists to the bookstore by the
12

required deadline; and
(2) The university should develop mechanisms for ensuring that faculty
meet these deadlines ; and, be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Student Government of Wright State University
17
here assembled, that:

(1) The university should communicate that it is taking action on this
19
matter to the student body.
