Introduces theory and practice of gas
welding of ferrous metals, including
procedures in flat, horizontal, and overhead
work. Focuses on brazing, flame cutting,
and welding of aluminum, stainless steel
and other metals.

5. General Course Objectives
Covers the basic skills in oxyacetylene welding, cutting and brazing.

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
a. describe the fire triangle
b. identify oxyfuel components
c. perform oxyfuel equipment safety inspection
d. demonstrate oxyfuel set-up procedure

g. adjust carburizing, neutral and oxidizing flames
h. demonstrate oxyfuel shut-down procedure
i. demonstrate oxyfuel cutting skills
