Legislation includes but is not limited to – Fisheries Act 1996 and associated regulations such as Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998, and Fisheries (South Island Customary Fishing) Regulations 1999. 2 For the purpose of this unit standard, candidates are required to select and generate evidence for one seafood company. 3 This unit standard applies to commercial seafood companies who are applying to operate under the Fisheries Act 1996. Range may include but is not limited to – FishServe, fishing permit, vessel registration, transfer of ACE, transfer of quota;. evidence of two is required.
