Definitions
Company requirements include the policy, procedures, and methodologies of the
company. They include legislative and regulatory requirements which may apply
across the company or to a specific site. Requirements are documented in the
company’s health and safety plans, traffic management plans, contract work
programmes, quality assurance programmes, policies, and procedural documents.
Materials include concrete, concrete blocks, masonry, stone.

Within this unit standard the term kerb line and channel is used to cover the
maintenance and repair of kerb and channel, nib, dish channel, mountable kerb, kerb
blocks.

The surrounds of kerb and channel are reinstated in accordance with company
requirements.

Surplus and loose materials are cleared from the site in accordance with
company requirements.

Temporary traffic control measures are removed in accordance with company

assessment against unit standards or deliver courses of study leading to that assessment.
